Domestic violence suspect found dead in SUV after pursuit by Gorham police
The incident began Sunday afternoon when a 30-year-old woman called police to say that her ex-boyfriend was threatening violence toward her and her parents.

A domestic violence suspect who police believed was armed led officers on a chase through parts of Gorham and Standish on Sunday before driving his sport utility vehicle off Route 114, authorities said.
Police said they later found the man dead inside his SUV, which came to rest in trees and vegetation in Standish, but it was not clear how he died. The state medical examiner’s office is scheduled to perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

STANDISH, Maine The Gorham Police Department reports a man is dead following a domestic terrorizing incident and high-speed chase on Sunday.
Lieutenant Dana Thompson writes in a press release that officers got a call early Sunday afternoon about an incident at a home on Mighty Street in Gorham.
According to Thompson, at approximately 2:35 pm, a 30-year-old woman reported that her ex-boyfriend had has threatened her and her parents, and had also said he would commit suicide.
