Vicente Gonzalez (D-McAllen) presented $3.7M in federal funding to a behavioral health clinic Monday morning. According to a news release, Texas Tropical Behavioral Health in Edinburg received the funds for the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Service Grant Program. Officials said the goal is for the money to help people suffering from mental health issues resulting from the coronavirus pandemic. Tropical Texas Behavioral Health CEO Terry Crocker said the money would go to all four clinics across the Valley.
