welcome back. joining us from washington with a look at axios a.m., national political reporter for axios jonathan swan. jonathan, good morning to you. talk about this morning s one big thing. the president and the special counsel, bob mueller engaged in what jonathan kyle, who is subbing in for mike allen this morning, calls a great game of chicken. on one side you have mueller s team, who are threatening to subpoena the president. rudy giuliani says he thinks there s a 50/50 chance that he does issue a subpoena. so they re preparing for that then you have the president, who is threatening to fire bob mueller. but neither side actually wants to do either of those things. because the mueller subpoena
big supporter of this trump white house. that has to delight you that an alumna such as omarosa will be gracing your screen on a competing network during the olympics. jesse: she is great tv. she s a great villain. everybody loves to hate her. the president seems to love her. she s very loyal, i guess. i didn t like how she acted like she had this dirt on everybody in the trump white house that she was going to sell and make everyone look racist. that i don t like about omarosa but as they say in the business, i wish her the best of luck. it kennedy: you always have. greg, how to review you didn t get that call to join. greg: i would do it in the second. jesse: celebrity little brother. greg: i had a dream that fox news had hired her and she ended up being a contributor and subbing on the five. i set i was going to throw myself off a building.
