way in gaza. it s taken its toll and tremendous suffering there. or the war in lebanon. if you look at the policies pursued, especially in while he s advocating democracy, he s supporting policies that are hard to come back from. it s not just that we ve sported folks who aren t democrat, we made the brand of america a tarnished brand by the ways we ve may haved and asked your friends to do in our name. see, i think the disconnect for the american people is what we see here as opposed to what they say over twl. we ve got people on tv going we re the number one, america is the best, democracy, freedom! right. we any the rest of the world
primary. but when it comes to general elections, this general midterm election, it turns on the party in power. it s a referendum on obama, his administration and democrats in power. so even though republican numbers really, i mean, the favorability number, your right. that s one of the lowest number we ve ever scored. it s not going to make that much difference to voters because they are voting for an alternative. and, peter, going with what neil said. on the economy, the president is really hurting in our poll. it s interesting because the approval rating ticked up for him by a couple of points. look at the economy. 52% say they disapprove of how he s handled it. it s the highest of the presidency and other results from our poll show people are more pessimistic about the economy turning around. and why shouldn t they be? you look and they are hurting. there aren t jobs there. sometimes we get so caught up in the minutia. twl there 24 things that came out of this poll that are impor
