american voter. this did. this had the general discernment that this president is an incompetent president. he was given a 4 or 5 on the ability to handle a crises. afghanistan is one of the things i hear from voters. it was bigger than just the collapse of a country. it s the general feeling of an incompetent president. you know, americans expect efficiency. we expect stuff to be on the shelves. we don t expect to be huge backups at the ports. expect monetary policy to work in terms of inflation to work and all of that. there s an unsettling feeling. saying this is what happens in other country, crazy lines at the airport and stuff doesn t work. joe biden basically in the campaign against donald trump promised normalcy. he ran a basement campaign. popped up occasionally and
serious condition. a lot of people don t like to talk about it. jesse: you want to talk about it in front of millions of people. you want to be the brave person for a wart on your finger. jesse: you have a wart on your hands, how did you get that? i got up from somebody else. jesse: did you catch it from your foot. i might have because i have a planters warts. otc stuff doesn t work so you have to go to a doctor for a stupid thing. it is incredible. all of these remedies. and a little tape on there. jesse: what did the doc doctor recommend you do to the wart? zap it off? the treatment is worse than my foot. try to use a pumice stone, pumice stone is like a haircut for your warts. jesse: nobody knows what a pumice stone is. i had to look it up here jesse: so you are doing wart maintenance with a pumice stone. you will leave the wart dangling on your hand. it is though war ever fall off
through to the other side based on the type of media they congress tatsuma as a person. it s hard to reach out and go to other news sites if they re talking about things you don t want to listen to. sometimes you need to branch out and find out as much information about a topic as possible. i think there is a sense when you guys started doing the work that you re doing right in the wake of what happened at your school that like oh, these kids are passionate and idealistic and it s great. the political system is going to chew them up. a year later are you more or less hopeful about how things work? i m super hopeful because i know there are so many more people in this country registered to vote and they re going to vote. they re actually going to turn out to vote. and like just because there s a lot of people turning out it vote doesn t mean you can slack off and not vote. do that, it s very important. just in general, like there s so much more you feel like you ve seen a lot
especially when it s someone your age. what have you learned in this process of doing this kind of work? so much. i learned so much more than i ve ever learned in high school. that s not a diss on my teacher that s a diss on this education system, it s pitiful. i learned so many experiences i never knew about. i learned so much about native americans, that the history books like burned records of practically. there s such a lack of and this is from going around the country yeah, going around the country. meeting people from different backgrounds. we met people at the standing rock reservation. we met with people in chicago. we met with people in almost like, was it over so many states. 63 cities. yeah. we made at least 63 stops and it was like over 90 events at the end of the whole summer, which is more than any tour ever had. and i cannot stress how much of a different person how much more grown i am and more
