The Iowa Senate sent Gov. Kim Reynolds a bill Tuesday that tightens Iowa’s laws and regulations on consumable hemp products as the products become more widely available.
An Iowa House committee unanimously approved a bill Tuesday that would delay requirements for gas stations to install fuel dispensers that can handle fuel blends with higher amounts of ethanol.
The bill would remove the most senior judge in the district from the judicial nominating commission. Instead, the governor would be allowed to appoint an additional member. With the addition, the governor would be able to appoint six or a majority of the members to each judicial nominating commission.
