Data furnished by the Union minister of state for external affairs, V Muraleedharan in the Lok Sabha last week, revealed that 4,355 students from Tamil Nadu travelled abroad for studies in January and February this year. Tamil Nadu accounted for 6%of of the total number of students who went to foreign countries for higher studies this year.
