FLOODS may have devastated parts of Warrington but they also brought out the best in people. Those affected by the disaster were overwhelmed by gestures of help and kindness from community groups, charities and businesses who rallied together to create a network of support. These are just some of the examples of the incredible community response .
King s Church Warrington Minister Mike Ryder said: We have helped somewhere in the region of 200 to 300 people so far, whether that’s been with food, cleaning products, delivering furniture, offering shelter at our community centre, or just being available for a brew and a chat or offering to pray with people.
