WERT, Ohio Due to wintry weather, the Vantage Career Center Board Of
Education held its regular February meeting virtually via Facebook Live on Thursday.
Superintendent
Rick Turner addressed the Board on a number of items, including a
schedule for COVID-19 vaccinations of staff members with the first dose
set for Friday, Feb. 19 and Friday, March 19 for the second dose. Just

kyra. they were there for about two weeks and authorities in oakland had thought it had gone on long enough and they thought it was a si safety situation over there and health problems with people living in those tents for so long. they decided to disband those protesters and cleared everyone out yesterday afternoon and a few hours later about 7:00, 8:00 at night about 500 protesters decided they wanted to take that area back. so, they started rallying towards city hall and that s where they were met by police who were in riot gear, who threw tear gas into the crowd. it was a very unsettling situation about 100 people arrested. there were some people with minor injuries. this went on all throughout the night. things as you said, now, are calm, carol. i ll step out of frame and you can see a live picture of what it looks like now. some barricades set up just behind those barricades are city hall. just a few protesters now. police monitoring the situation. things seem to be und
