packing the supreme court, and he said as he has said in the past, i think it s a bad idea because it would politicize the supreme court forever. he s right. and this is perhaps joe biden actually speaking for himself for once, not for what his staff thinks or what members of congress think. so who knows, maybe joe biden is dug in on this issue of not packing the court. paul: i would just say joe biden was also once against unilateral debt forgiveness and came aroun- [laughter] so i m not so sure i d bank on that if the democrats can break the filibuster in the senate after 2024. all right, still ahead, president biden pivots to plan b after the supreme court strikes down his $430 billion student loan cancellation. we ll take a closer closer looked at his new proposal and the price tag for taxpayers next. i believe the court s decision to strike down my student debt relief program was a mistake, was wrong.
know, trying to take a look and listen to what president joe biden is saying. i think president joe biden made a lot of lofty promises to black voters in 2020. and 2024 is an opportunity for those voters to really take a step back and see what has the president done on these issues. i was talking to voters, and one of the things i kept hearing were coming concerns, you know, day to day cost of living, where are they staying right now? but also student loan cancellation, that was something a lot of voters brought up and said would be at the front of their minds when they go to the polls in 2024 merchandise. and obviously the supreme court knocked down a lot of that just last week, but the white house is trying to have some sort of revived, at least limited version. black voters, donald trump did make some headway there especially black men in 2020.
