The Western Illinois University student organization Interdisciplinary English and Arts Society (IDEAS) in collaboration with Student Honors Association (SHA), Student Government Association (SGA) and Society of Educators (SOE) will host a movie night featuring “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” from 5:50-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, at the Cinemark IMAX theater located at 3601 East 53rd Street.

Western Illinois University will host Gregory Rasmussen, founder and executive director of Painted Dog Research Trust (PDRT), for a speaker series event Wednesday, April 27, as he embarks on a three-month tour of U.S. zoos and universities to promote awareness of the highly endangered painted dog, also known as African wild dog.
