“We received around 70 applications from the students, and among them, 15 were selected to contest the election. Students from 8th, 9th, and 10th grades were eligible to contest in the election, while the students from 6th Grade to 10th Grade were eligible to exercise their franchise to select the members for Student Council and Head Boy and Head Girl,’’ said Anjali Nayak, a teacher.
