The $1.5 million grant from the National Science Foundation will provide four years of scholarship support for up to 15 qualifying incoming biology or neuroscience students per year in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky. The average scholarship amount will be $5,000 a year, depending on financial need, going up to $10,000.
