A man has told an attempted murder trial that he held his guts in after a stranger slashed open his stomach with a large knife.
Defendant Parry Williams, aged 54, cut three men with a large kitchen knife after driving his car into a pub wall – pinning his ex-girlfriend by her legs.
Martin Timmis, who jumped out of the way of the Vauxhall Astra, and bystanders Ian Carne and Simon Short confronted Williams after the crash in Stoke, a jury has heard.
