the woman wanted a bag of potato chips, but there was no money left and her governmentac issued food stampk card to the clerk tried to take back the chips. the became enraged and went and got her boyfriend. now the boyfriend, austin simon, had a long history of violent crime. someone had spent at leastlt three years in prison for assault. his most recent parole expired last may, so simon had no apparent job. he was h wearing a three designr t-shirt and a gold earring and he was extremely angry. he was furious. austin simon threw albar into a wall, then leaned down and screamed in his face. when the older. man stood up, simon grabbed him by the neck. here s a local news account describing what happened next. surveillance video shows thirty seven year old austin simon pushed the clerk behind counter and then stand over him. moments later, a struggle ensues. the two russell and the clerkab stabbed simon multiple times. this happened mul late friday nt in the blue moon convenience store
of two orsolya gaal. late last night, 44-year-old david bonola, who was wanted for questioning, approaching officers. he voluntarily came back to the 112 precinct and made incriminating statements. reporter: authorities say bonola worked as a handyman and was having an intimate affair with gaal for the last two years. on friday night, gaal attended a show at lincoln center, returning to her home around 12:20 in the morning. bonola arriving minutes later. he is either let in voluntarily or he uses a key he has knowledge about hidden in a barbecue. a heated argument ensues between the two in the basement. a knife is bs brandished. a violent struggle ensues. reporter: gaal stabbed more than 55 times, one of her sons upstairs. her older son and husband, out of town looking at colleges. mr. bonola then retrieved the hockey bag belonging to ms. gaal s son, placed her in

taser. again, disturbing there to watch the officer sitting on top of him, but having seen what you have, officer ramsey, commissioner ramsey, what do you make of this? was it excessive use of force or was it justified on the part of the police officer? let me by saying i don t have all the reports, statements or anything, but having watched the video, it is disturbing. i mean, first of all, a one person car, which is not unusual. he makes a traffic stop. the individual at one point begins to walk away. at that point in time, he should have called for back-up because clearly, this individual was not going to cooperate with what it is you re saying. he approaches the individual, puts his hand on the shoulder, a struggle ensues, he pulls his taser, which is problematic because he s so close. the individual is able to grab
