through these areas that have been damaged and trying to really assess now that we have daylight, the full scope of what happened here but with thousands of people throughout tennessee straight-line winds absolute made a big impact on the electric grid here. that s going to take some time in this community where i am this morning at least half of this entire county is without power. utility crews say because of the size of the power poles brought down here was going to be through the weekend. we do have several homes without roofs here. with outbuildings destroyed pre-that s the type of damage we are seeing on the tennessee side of things. there is never a tornado warning issued here. we did have the stroke wind gusts associate with the severe thunderstorm warning that we think he did a lot of this damage but of course the national weather service is going to get assessing this to get their official information ruling on what likely happened in this scenario. a lot of pain this morning
