They were taken by a passenger on a Plane Landing on the island. They really capture the extent of the wildfires as they burn out of control. The governor of hawaii estimated that 80 of the town is gone. He said it was probably the us states largest ever natural disaster. We can also show you these pictures. They show that some buildings seem to have been left untouched by the flames whilst others just metres away have been completely destroyed.
