CHIKKAMAGALURU/HASSAN: Amid surging Covid cases, Chikkamagaluru district administration has imposed a complete lockdown for four days from May 20 to 24. Deputy commissioner KN Ramesh announced this in a press conference in Chikkamaglauru on Wednesday.
While all commercial activities, and industries will remain closed during this period, milk parlours and medical stores will remain open. However, according to the DC, there will be a total restriction on the movement of private vehicles. The public have to purchase milk from the nearest parlour.
