The Department of Health (DOH) in Central Luzon is urging the public to put an end to discrimination, judgment, and stigmatization of People Who Use Drugs (PWUDs). During Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week, themed People First: Stop Stigma and Discrimination, Strengthen Prevention, DOH emphasized the need to stop and prevent discrimination against PWUDs while acknowledging their rights. By refraining from blaming and stigmatizing individuals with drug use disorders, we can help them receive essential treatment and care instead of pushing them further into the cycle of drug dependency.
