NEW ORLEANS A 31-year-old woman walking her dog was hit and killed by a driver along St. Charles Avenue. It happened Saturday night. The driver left the scene and has not been identified.
Christina Larsen was crossing St. Charles Avenue at Harmony Street with her dog Hubert just after 7 p.m. Surveillance video shows her cross St. Charles Avenue and onto the Streetcar Tracks, and as she crosses the other side of St. Charles Avenue she is hit by a car that appears to be driving at a high rate of speed. The driver left Larsen lying along St. Charles Avenue.
