A little history on the pride alliance, it was created in 2001 when a group of courageous San Francisco Police Officers who identified as lgbtq establish an organization because they felt the department needed to change and that the relationships between the lgbtq officers and the department needed to be flourishing and needed to change for the better. I dont think those officers would have thought we would have had a rainbow s. U. V. Officer knew the issues around each individual and knew to take appropriate action. The document of any interaction with these people builds a case. We got five of those individuals off the street and we continue to work to help the other 10. Officers work with dpw and rec and park have been fabulous collaborators resolving issues in our district and the officers take the enforcement action but theyre first protocol is the outreach trying to get these people housed and off the street to the best of their ability. Traffic safety is an important part of our duty. I think our officers definite are doing the Traffic Enforcement. We work closely with mta and the traffic unit, sfpd and theyve been great anytime we have an issue at any particular intersection they support us and have been a great resource for us. We do typically every week we do three to six operations. We try to do one on each shift and try to do pedestrian each week because a lot of our collisions involved pedestrians. So w

Budget, um that we really should go ahead and have a community meeting. So this is a community meeting. We have our commissioners present. Um, one of our commissioners. Was unable to be here. Uh thats commissioner joaquin guerrero, whos out of the country, but we have five other commissioners here. We also have members of the public in the room and we have members of the public on line. And so were going to go ahead and go through our regular, um the items that we were planning to cover today, which is our directors report. We will have a report on the budget and then we will have, um , a presentation on the which is an overview of the homelessness response system just to set the framework for everyone. In the ensuing months, we will we have worked with the commission to set up some presentations for all of you and for the public so that you can start to understand the various interventions and various pieces of our homelessness response system in San Francisco and how they all fit tog
