Triumph has taken the wraps off the 2021 version of its famed off-road bike, the Street Scrambler 900. The Street Scrambler is Triumph’s Street Twin-based offering with improved off-road capabilities. The British bikemaker has made some tweaks to the overall package and also introduced a special variant, called the Sandstorm Edition, for 2021. Let’s dive into the details.
Triumph's versatile Street Scrambler will enter the 2022 model year with an updated engine and a handful of design tweaks. Motorcycle manufacturers need to keep tailpipe emissions in check, too, so Triumph fitted the 2022 Street Scrambler with a 900cc, 270-degree parallel twin that's compliant with the latest round of European regulations. Visual changes include an aluminum number board added to the left side of the bike, a brushed aluminum finish on the throttle body finishers, the heel guards, and the headlight brackets, plus a redesigned seat.

Continuing their product onslaught for 2021 Triumph has just pulled the wraps of the new 2021Triumph Street Scrambler. Aside from a special edition motorcycle that you can read about here. The 2021 Street Scrambler retains the motor from the Scrambler in BS6/Euro 5 spec, luckily, no power has been lost in transition.
The entire Street Twin-based range gets some subtle tweaks with a new saddle, sidepanel number board, aluminium headlight bracket, heel guards and throttle body finish. And despite meeting Euro5 emissions regulations, the new version sacrifices none of its 64bhp peak power output.
The limited-edition Sandstorm pays tribute to the original desert racing Triumph Scramblers of the 1960s with a special three-tone paintjob. On top of this, it gets a high-level mudguard, aluminium bash plate, rubber knee pads, headlight grille and a tail tidy.
The Sandstorm edition will be available from May and costs £9900 but just 775 units will be made worldwide, so you’d better move fast if you want one.
