Justice ride held at Barclays Center over police violence

Protests erupted throughout New York City on Saturday in response to the deaths of young Black and brown people at the hands of police.
Members of Street Riders NYC gathered at Barclays Center for a “justice ride.” Bicyclists showed up from all over the city to participate.
Peter Kerre, an organizer of the group, says the group is fed up with police brutality. Today we re out, we re disappointed, we re upset, we re fed up.and we re going to be loud and let the world know, Kerre says.
After a slew of recent attacks on women at a local subway station, a Brooklyn man started a community group on Instagram that walks people to and from subway stops.
