Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge Breeze Up Sale Catalog Now Online Sponsored by:
A quality selection of 2-year-olds make up the 2021 Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge Breeze Up Sale catalog which is now online, while hard copies will be mailed out in the coming days.
The breeze will take place on Wednesday, June 2 at 9 a.m. at the Rowley Mile with the sale taking place on Thursday, June 3 at 10:30 a.m. at Tattersalls Park Paddocks headquarters in Newmarket.
Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge Breeze Up Sale graduates have been performing well on the track with recent winners including Haqeeqy who impressed at Doncaster winning the Lincoln for John & Thady Gosden and HH Sheikha Hissa Hamdan Al Maktoum. Haqeeqy topped the 2019 sale when he was purchased for €175,000 by Blandford Bloodstock from Oak Tree Farm.
The Randwick track not good enough on Queen Elizabeth Stakes day
OUTSTANDING DAY’S RACING BUT SURFACE DISAPPOINTING
The question most people were asking after Saturday at Randwick was if the “track was prepared to aid Addeybb?”
I criticised the Caulfield track on Blue Diamond Stakes day when horses had to race off the rail to find the best going on a surface rated a good (4), so it is only fair I also ask the same questions about Randwick being rated a good (4) last Saturday.
If it is good it should not be uneven.
Jockeys and punters alike considered the track in the slow range after the first at Randwick and I bet William Haggas, watching 17,000km away at Newmarket in the UK had the giggles when he saw the cut in the ground in the early races - knowing full well that the track would suit his champion Addeybb.
