The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Mohammad Eslami told Al Jazeera that Tehran's retreat from reducing its commitment to the nuclear deal requires the lifting of all sanctions on his country. He stressed that the Iranian nuclear program cannot be deleted by targeting it militarily or sanctions. He also said that Israel knows that its threat to strike Iran's nuclear facilities is empty and beyond its capabilities, expressing his country's readiness to cooperate constructively with its Arab neighbors in the nuclear field. The Wall Street Journal said in previous weeks that Iran had significantly slowed the pace of accumulating closely-enriched uranium for weapons.
