Strata Brewing Company in Rossendale scooped double accolades at the 2020 RateBeer awards. The fledgling operation took home the Best New Brewery and overall Best Brewery rosettes for Lancashire at the RateBeer.com awards, recognising the overall quality and success of an operation that has been around for just 18 months. Owned and run by Andy Morrison, 27, Strata Brewing Company was set up in July 2019 and has quickly built a loyal fanbase, with brews such as Vaalbara and Fram. Mr Morrison has been brewing professionally since 2016 before introducing his trademark expertise, knowledge and flair to Strata. Despite its newness on the brewing scene, Strata has enjoyed a strong reception.
