Chennai Rains | Cyclone Michaung News Live: The monsoon’s second cyclone, which will be named Michaung, brewing over the Bay may reach north Tamil Nadu and south Andhra Pradesh coast early on Monday. IMD is yet to forecast if the cyclone will cross Tamil Nadu coast or will veer off northwards. Nevertheless, the approaching system may bring heavy rainfall in the city and neighbouring districts on Saturday and heavy to very heavy rain on Sunday and Monday with wind speeds touching 60-70kmph gusting to 80kmph along the coast and adjoining areas of Bay of Bengal.
