little straighter every december 7th and we reflect on the heroism shown her 75 years ago. as dawn broke that december day, paradise never seemed so sweet. the water was warm and impossibly blue. sailors ate in the mess hall or readied themselves for church. dressed in crisp white shorts and t-shirts. in the harbor, ships at anchor floated in neat rows. the california, the maryland, and the oklahoma. the tennessee. the west virginia. and the nevada. on the deck of the arizona, the navy band was tuning up.
distinguish guests, members of our enforcers and most of all, survivors of pearl harbor and their loved ones, aloha. to americans, especially those of us who call hawaii home, this harbor is a sacred place. as we lay a wreath or toss flowers into waters that still weep, we think of the more than 2400 american patriots, fathers and husbands, wives and daughters manning heaven s rails for all eternity. we salute the defenders who pulled themselves a little straighter every december seventh and we reflect on the heroism that is shown here 75
home. it s a mission that many veterans and active duty service members support. any time we could have had this just getting home for thanksgiving was a biggie. programs like this just mean so much to active duty service members knowing that the american people are out there still supporting us in every way possible. to dated, the program has donated more than 58,000 free flights at a cost of $88 million but it s running dangerously low on much needed frequent flier miles. we have a lot of our men and women who are still injured, still suffering, still going through rehabilitation. and we, as americans, owe them an obligation to step up and i m just asking the american public to donate frequent flier miles now as we did before. whenever do you something like, this america, you are doing the most proudest thing you could do and you are making that veteran stand a little taller, a little straighter, and you are saying thank you, veteran. so i ask you, what are
black precincts in america. and it s approaching, i think auto% of all babies in america. and, you know, fathers not there. i mean, it s a disintegrations of the family. is that not what the pope is concerned about? again, your particular perception, one particular one viewpoint to receive. again, the word to the pope transcends the different interpretations that we have. the important thing is, no matter where you stand or i stand or jim stands, we have got to have a dialogue, to. that s why we are doing this segment. i will tell you what, i like the pope, i think he is a good man. i just wish he would talk a little straighter. but i know that s not his job. that s my job and you guys do that, too. i think we are going to hear that in philly as well. we will talk about. you have got to lay it on the line a little bit more. got to lay it on the line a little bit more or the family is going to continue in this country to disintegrate. congressman, thank you very
