Plans have been submitted to Wrexham Council for the development of a new farm shop with an ancillary café, associated access, car parking and landscaping near Rossett.
The proposed development would be in a field to the north of the Straight Mile, roughly half way between Llay and Rossett.
The applicant explains, “The farm shop would form part of the agricultural holding known as Rackery Farm, which is located on Higher Lane, Burton, Rossett. The proposal seeks to diversify the agricultural enterprise by providing a new standalone farm shop within an easily accessible location, that would sell local farm produce from the farm and surrounding local agricultural enterprises.”
