neighborhoods banded together to set up this distribution center. they ve welcomed more than 5,000 people, and the line is just nonstop. fema also set up here. there s a line that goes around for temporary housing vouchers. and that is where we met rose. rose, you learned from us that the president was going to visit the area today. what are you hoping to hear from him? that he s going to do whatever he can financially to bring bay county at least close to the beautiful area it used to be. reporter: if you could send him a message today, what are the primary needs of people here? we need electricity, and we need water. and so many people need homes. i was told yesterday from the apartment complex where i live that if i had a place to live,
