COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) â The Coldwater City Council approved the purchase Monday night of the second of two police cars that have been budgeted for the 2020/2021 budget year.
Cole Story Ford in Coldwater provided a quote of over $32,400 for a 2021 Ford Interceptor Explorer Patrol Unit.
Director of Public Safety Joe Scheid said the quote was $300 higher than the department paid for their last two patrol units, which were 2020 Ford Interceptor Explorers.
He says the purchase of two units will help keep their fleet of patrol units in good operating order.
