MUNCIE, Ind. A former Marsh supermarket on the city s southeast side is set to be the site of one of two housing developments that will bring upwards of 108 new housing units to the city.
Project Riverbend Flats, named for the White River behind the site, will be located at the intersection of South Burlington and East Memorial Drive that was formerly the site of a Marsh grocery store and a Family Dollar.
The buildings at the location will be demolished, eventually being replaced by a 60-unit apartment complex that will provide two- and three-bedroom units. It s what I would call workforce housing, Muncie Mayor Dan Ridenour told The Star Press on Friday.
