Ramachandra Rao of Telangana High Court had directed two top bureaucrats to appear before the HC personally on March 26 in a contempt of court matter. The officials, Vikas Raj, Principal Secretary of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development and K. Ramakrishna Rao, Principal Secretary of Finance and Planning were directed to appear before the court at 10.30 a.m. on March 26. They were asked to explain as to why action should not be initiated against them for contempt of the orders of the HC.
