LEGEND: Colin Bell makes a last trip to his beloved Manchester City FRIENDS and family of Manchester City and Bury FC legend Colin Bell have today paid their respects today (Tuesday, January 26) at his funeral in Hale. Bell, who made 82 league appearances for Bury and scored 25 goals for the Shakers, passed away earlier in the month and the funeral was held this afternoon at St Peter’s Church in Hale, with a private ceremony for a limited number of mourners. His former City teammate Mike Summerbee attended the service alongside first team coach Brian Kidd, Tony Book and Joe Corrigan. Several of Bell’s football friends and colleagues also attended, including Peter Barnes, Dennis Tueart, Gary Owen, Alex Williams, Brian Horton, Tommy Booth and Dave Watson.
