Stone residents in Band D properties are set to pay almost a pound extra to the town council next year â and the budget includes a £10,000 Covid-19 contingency fund.
The town precept â the portion of council tax paid to Stone Town Council - is set to go up by 1.9 per cent for 2021/22. This is a similar increase to that proposed by Stafford Borough Council for the next financial year.
