Freedom after 19 years in prison
Termaine Hicks, was freed and exonerated last week after 19 years in prison.
Police shot Hicks as he was helping a victim. After they covered it up, he was wrongly convicted of attacking her.
During that time, Hicks wrote a dozen plays and musicals, which he hopes to produce and direct but for now, Hicks is catching up with family and celebrating the holidays.
He plans to keep writing in the future.
