Halton Regional police said it's auto theft task force recovered the stolen vehicles and "disrupted an organized auto theft network operating in the GTA."
"Investigators determined some of the stolen vehicles were being re-vinned, fraudulently re-registered and illegally sold," police said in a news release.

Police said on Aug. 17, at around 5 p.m. officers were called to the Fairall Street and Westney Road South Area for reports that a stolen vehicle had been tracked to an auto shop.
