Daines working to delay restrictions on hauling livestock MTN NEWS and last updated 2021-04-01 16:00:46-04 GREAT FALLS — U.S. Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) and several fellow senators are trying to continue to delay restrictions on hauling livestock. Daines’ office announced this week that he has introduced the Modernizing Agricultural Transportation Act ( “Montana’s ag haulers should be able to transport their products efficiently and safely. Providing this needed certainty and flexibility to our ag and livestock haulers will help to remove unnecessary burdens that negatively impact our ranchers while also keeping our roads safe,” Daines said in a news release.
