Well begin with new developments in the death of a man. A death that may boil down to a fatal mistake. Good evening thank you for joining us. That man died after a deputy put him in a choke hold. Police thought they were chasing an armed suspect in a stolen car. That was noft the case. What happened. 52 yearold david ward died last wednesday morning. After a high speed chase which ended. Sheriffs deputies and Police Officers were responding to a report that the car was stolen. Police lieutenant says once they stopped the car. They struggled to remove the driver from the vehicle. And used force. Which included a taser. And a restraint. As well as personal body weapons. Arms and legs and hand. Officers finally got him out by applying the restraint. Once he was removed they notice he was unconscious and stopped breathing. Ward fts rushed to the hospital where he died. Sadly it turned out the car thief was the car owner.
