NAINITAL: The Uttarakhand high court on Wednesday took to task the state government over the Covid-19 situation, saying that the state has become a laughing stock due to its organising the Kumbh Mela in the midst of a raging pandemic.
The remarks came in the form of an oral observation from the bench of Chief Justice RS Chauhan and Justice Alok Kumar Verma while it was hearing a bunch of PILs about the state s handling of the Covid-19 situation.
