DAGUPAN CITY - Four confirmed cases of the Omicron variant of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in the province of Pangasinan have recovered, according to the Provincial Health Office (PHO). PHO chief, Dr. Anna Ma. Teresa de Guzman, attributed the surge of Covid-19 cases in the province to the presence of the Omicron variant community transmission. "We are at moderate risk, not in critical, that is why we were placed under Alert Level 3 system to prevent a further surge in cases and we could already place interventions," she said during the question hour at Sangguniang Panlalawigan (provincial board) session on Monday.
