Four-legged friends Kobe, Bailey, Sparkles, Bonnie and Buckles were the inspiration for the first Stillwater Dog Show, to be held on May 2. These dogs belong to members of the Stillwater Hall’s events committee, and when the committee was casting around for ideas for a fundraiser, a dog show was the clear favourite. The brand new show is likely to appeal to many local dog owners in a similar way to Ōrewa Lions’ popular Hot Diggety Dog Show, which was postponed last month due to heavy rain the day before.
