areas. albany, new york, was 80 degrees on sunday. and they had 3 inches of snow last night. yikes. flowers are confused. everyone s confused. the snow is now ending in boston, providence, looks like over for you. cape cod, rain to snow shortly. and bangor maine still snowing. lake-effect showers. temperatures are 30 to 35 degrees colder right now than 24 hours. windchill is 17 in albany. it s 21 in philadelphia. so you definitely need the winter coat, hat and gloves if you didn t pack them away already. you re at negative 1. you see the temperatures in northern portion of michigan. want to go to duluth this afternoon. up to 10 inches of snow in duluth. i had to bring it was snowing when i came to work. yeah. it will be gone by noon. the new york police department disbands its muslim spy units. plus, if you think casual

picking up more than 10 inches, 11 inches reported in parts of that state. in the mid atlantic that storm system really has just significantly intensified across the region, and it s been producing, like i mentioned, up to 2 inches per hour, and some of these totals outs here, parts of west virginia, 15 inches. parking lots of maryland, 18 pinches already, and inches already, and we have hours to go still. we re going to continue to see snow piling up out here. early this morning we saw now in atlanta and at the same time we had snow in the city of boston. so that s just to give you an idea of how widespread this storm system is. that darker blue, that s where we re seeing some of the more intense snowfall, and the storm is staying close to the coast, so we are expecting mixing ongoing. philadelphia, you re seeing freezing rain. still snowing in new york city, but that transition later this afternoon will happen, and we re going to see rain and several more inches of accumulation, so
be one big ice chunk. and they don t get this out of here, this is going to be here until march. something else we re dealing with too. these big tall buildings with the ice storm that we had this morning. these big tall buildings are shedding sheets of ice at a time. and the people down on the sidewalks are getting hit by these sheets of ice. so you need to be very careful walking around the city today, and look above or maybe take a hard hat or don t look up at all or stay inside. here is what the forecast looks like now for the next couple of hours. the snow is from boston, where don is, changing over a little bit to snow and sleet. and then back out toward the west all the way to buffalo, still snowing. south of there, that pink is the ice that s freezing rain and sleet all mixing together. and then south of there is all rain. but the snow is now moving off to the east. so the bull s eye for the more snow to come area is still around boston. the ice area is south of there. we re st
