Feeder Services Switch Ports After Over Fifty Years of Service
In House Handling of Local Container Freight
DENMARK – WORLDWIDE – Maersk, which has called there regularly since 1968, is to switch services from Copenhagen Malmo Port (CMP) located in the centre of Copenhagen, to a new container operation at Kalundborg as of March 2021.
The agreement with Port of Kalundborg, A.P. Moller Maersk and APM Terminals covers two weekly feeder services with rotation Bremerhaven (DEBRV), Hallstahammer (SEHAL), Helsingborg (SEHEL), Kalundborg (DKKLD), Aarhus (DKAAR), Fredericia (DKFRC) and back to Bremerhaven (DEBRV) totalling approximately 30% of the overall cargo volumes of the island of Zealand in Denmark.
