The Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy Terje Aasland visited the site of Vianode’s new battery materials plant in Herøya, Norway where he raised Vianode’s flag. Initially, the new plant is expected to produce anode graphite for about 20,000 EVs annually by 2024. Later on, it will be scaled to provide battery materials to two million EVs per year by 2030.

Vianode has inaugurated the Vianode Technology Center (VTC) in Norway with an aim to expand its R&D activities in sustainable battery materials. The move is expected to strengthen the idea of developing a complete battery value chain for the European market.
