Altamont pass to 680 westbound takes 20 minutes. We have some breaking news in the east bay regarding that car chase. Officers with california Highway Patrol are trying to pull over a driver who wont stop. The driver is now headed towards 24. They are calling this a low speed chase. It started around midnight when officers in menlo park tried to pull over a drunk driver. The chase reached the oakland area around 4 a. M. Mixed reaction this morning after a jury found pg e guilty of a number of charges after the san bruno pipeline explosion.
