The Washington Township Board of Supervisors made a few moves at their meeting on Dec. 7, 2020, shaping the layout for 2021.
According to township manager Jeff Geesaman, Chad Reichard was hired as the township s assistant planner/zoning officer. It was a little crazy, Reichard said. I resigned at the beginning of the meeting from my position as a township supervisor and was hired to my current position about 45 minutes later.
Reichard shared part of his responsibilities that come with his new role in his hometown. I will be assisting the zoning officer, reviewing plans and working with the planning committee, he said. It s sort of a catch-all, but it s all about working with the townships and making sure that everything is in order. Washington township is where I was born and raised.
