Assault Suspect In Custody After Reported Skateboard Attack In Stevenson Ranch
A transient was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon on felony assault charges after he allegedly swung a skateboard at a person during an argument in Stevenson Ranch.
Around 12:20 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to The Old Road and Pico Canyon Road in Stevenson Ranch regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“Upon arrival, deputies learned during a verbal argument, the suspect swung a skateboard at the victim’s upper torso,” Arriaga said.
The victim did not sustain any injuries, according to Arriaga.
