The world’s largest trivia contest is back. This weekend’s festivities got a kickstart with the annual parade Friday afternoon where teams participating in the contest created floats.

The World’s Largest Trivia Contest will celebrate its 51st year with a UFO-themed “Raid on Trivia 51” contest from April 16 to 18 through WWSP-90 FM, a student-run campus radio station at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Last year, the spring contest was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and trivia fans played an online version in October.
This year, teams can get together virtually or in person. Registration begins March 15 for the contest that kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday, April 16. Players will have a break from midnight to 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday mornings. Teams will have eight questions to answer per hour for 38 hours, and they will submit their answers online through a website moderated by radio station staff.
