Teachers, nurses get free tea
McAlister’s Deli is marking Teachers and Nurses Appreciation Week May 3-7 and nurses and teachers with a valid ID or badge are welcome to stop by and enjoy a complimentary glass of tea.
Lubbock has three McAlister s locations: 2415 19th St.; 4210 82nd St., Ste. 212; and 6810 Milwaukee Ave.
Plainview to host COVID-19 vaccine clinics
The Plainview-Hale County Health Department will host Moderna COVID-19 vaccine clinics on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. at the Plainview – Hale County Health Department, 111 E. 10th St.
